Richard Webster
"Wow! what a book!
I knew M.M.M. would be good because I’ve read some of your work before, but I had no idea it would be as good as it is. You’ve done an amazing job, and I can’t believe how generous you’ve been in releasing such valuable material from your act. If someone had told me that I’d be entranced with every page of a mentalism book that contained virtually nothing but effects with double-blank playing cards and markers, I wouldn’t have believed them.
If they’d told me the book was 362 pages long, I’d have laughed. Once I started reading your book though, the only time I put it down was to try out your moves and routines. I enjoyed your advice almost as much as the routines, especially “Believability and Suspension of Belief” and your thinking on Q&A.
Your version of Q&A is exceptional, and is worth many times the cost of your book. I love the fact that’s it’s impromptu and can be performed for both small and large audiences. I’ve spent a surprising amount of money over the years on “What’s my sign?” effects. I’m going to be using your “Zodi-act” method from now on. I’ll also be using your version of confabulation, your oracle stack, and Tarot in Your Pocket. I’ve made good use of your earlier version of Tarot in Your Pocket and am looking forward to the simplicity of your new version. “History, Mystery, Gift” is something I’ll be performing regularly. I love magic squares and your thinking on this, and how to make it easier and more entertaining, is excellent. I like your in the hands version (The Mystic Square) too. I haven’t tried your design duplication (Pb) yet, and am looking forward to trying it out.
You have a genius for creating original routines using simple methods.
There’s enough material in just the first hundred pages of your book to provide an astute psychic entertainer with everything he could ever need to forge a lucrative career. As long as he had ambition and a pleasing personality there’s no limit to how far he could go. M.M.M. is essential reading for anyone interested in making a career as a psychic entertainer.
You’ve no idea how much I’ve longed to see another entertainer use numerology and Tarot as an integral part of his performance, and reading this book was the next best thing to seeing you perform. I really, really hope our paths cross before too long. I’m in Europe every year, so maybe we could arrange to meet somewhere".

Cassidy's "4th Dimensional Telepathy" is a classic with great reason and Scott Creasey has a true gem and real-world worker, a sublime variation in handling & execution within his "Minimalistic Metaphysical Mentalism" (a must-have resource, in my experience!) which I'm sure nearly anyone would love and without much thought or delay seek to pick up and adopt immediately...it's just that good (not to mention his beautiful, streamlined takes on other mind reading classics and Annemann/Cassidy masterpieces such as the "Name & Place" routine, 4DT as mentioned prior, a killer Q&A handling and much, MUCH more!).
Mind you, this is ALL accomplished working with nothing more than a stack of double-blank business cards or blank bridge-sized card stock held together with a single rubber band + a few pens or pencils...no envelopes necessary or needed, can be performed up close, in the parlor or on stage for audiences of ANY size, can be done surrounded without fear and as said before, truly packs a punch and remains one of my personal ALL TIME favorite options and active, working, real-world variations to employ in my own professional work and performances.

I will start by saying the essays and random thoughts throughout the book are all exceptional. Scott makes great points and backs up those points with experience.
This is what real mind reading would look like. This is a book I will continually come back to. I’m not at all joking when I say I want to perform every routine from the book (with VERY few exceptions.)
Included is THE BEST Q&A act I’ve ever read. It is so casual and so hands off that it feels down right dirty. No gimmicks, no preparation, no preshow. Just pure metaphysical mind reading at it’s best. This looks like the real deal. Be careful with this one… it could start a cult.
Overall, this is one of the best mentalism books I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. I received it midday on Monday and I read all 360 pages in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. It is now late Wednesday night and I have read every routine multiple times and have practiced every routine in the book multiple times.

"Such a great book! Very likely one of the very best books on mentalism I've ever read. Nothing in here is a random brain fart, these are all excellent working routines that clearly have been honed over many performances. Great moves, great ideas, great routines everything motivated and natural.
The book builds and builds, starting with good material and ending with some incredible takes on mentalism classics.
The cliche here is unavoidable - there is stuff in here that is for sure going directly in my act (C.C.P!) and I am also strongly considering switching to his version of 4DT. It's really, really good. His take on Name and Place is also a nice change of pace. And the move he teaches for a peek with a stack... I don't want to even name it lest you guys who haven't bought the book try and figure it out.... but it's so deceptive and so so so good. If you read it but didn't try it, do it. You'll fool yourself .
Oh, and the Q&A is amazing. I've read most if not all of Scott's published Q&A methods, and this one is by far the best IMO.
Scott has been known and respected in the mentalism community for releasing clever and practical material, but I see that he has been holding back the best of it. Until now. So good".

"This book is a treasure trove of ideas that hit hard, play big, yet take very little room to carry around. There is just so much and more in this book. Great essays, original takes on useful sleights, a special deck you can make, mnemonic ideas…. on and on and on. There’s so much in here that will make you grin from ear to ear as you get a peek into Scott’s mind. Just fantastic!!!"

"This is powerful, brilliantly constructed material that anyone could go out and make a living with. It's the best stuff I've read in years. This book is destined to become a classic. So much good stuff, you won't believe it."

"In the world of mentalism and magic, there are few things I look forward to more, than a new Scott Creasey release. His thinking never disappoints. Minimalistic, Metaphysical Mentalism is an ultra-modern complete master course in professional mentalism. All the knowledge and routines one needs to learn to begin and develop a part or full-time career as a professional mind reader. From the heart, without exaggeration or hyperbole, you truly are a genius. You have reinvented billet work."

"Wow...what a stunning combination of demonstrations. I genuinely love this and your thinking is 'right up my street'. This is seriously good material and in the hands of an experienced reader would be mind blowing.
I want to just say this and then I will leave you in peace.
Your book is superb...simply superb...and I am only a few effects into it.
Regarding your thinking toward mentalism, I whole heartedly agree. This is the most inspirational book on mentalism that I have read in years and the best material I have come across for a very very long time. As you know I am a huge fan of Annemann, Andruzzi and Charles Cameron, I regard them as the masters of their craft, I have say, I regard you as being in the same league. Seriously, keep up the good work".

"The best mentalism book I have read in years, truly outstanding. I've just started reading 3DT, I managed to resist jumping ahead and I'm so glad I did so".

“I’ve been doing 3s Company, 666, and History Mystery Gift as often as I can. It’s a beautiful routine that’s self-working, involves just a few cards, and gets a great response! “

I also took a risk on this book and so far its fantastic! It's definitely one of the best mentalism purchases I have made.

"Well... I’ve just finished your book. I’ve never read a ‘magic’ book from cover to cover in all my 35 years of being in the game. However, this one I savoured every page!
Scott, it’s a masterpiece mate! Probably the best book on grass roots, real world mentalism out there... Absolutely love it. You should make this a limited run or double the price because, we don’t want all and sundry using it" .

Madison Hagler (again)
I used 4DT from MMM in a show today and I can say it will be a staple in my act. The reactions were incredible (dare I say... even grander than when I used to perform cassidy’s original version.)
The routine is just so incredibly clean. Every single moment is motivated, and there’s nothing out of place.
I think this is the best solution to this plot that has come along, and it’s the one I’ll be using for life. Good luck finding one that compares to this.

Hi Scott, hope you're doing well! I just wanted to reach out and congratulate you on M.M.M. - it came in just in time for me to take it with me on a four week travel schedule and I've been having an incredible time reading your thoughts. Absolutely terrific and genuinely up there with some of the older classics, easily. I will be revisiting this regularly and have started carrying a stack of blank cards and a couple sharpies everywhere I go since last week..go figure. Also loved your thoughts on whether to use business cards or blank cards. I used to use BC myself but your essay has had me completely convinced in favour of blank cards. Thanks for that. Absolutely terrific work.

"I just finished reading this book. For a year or so I've been looking for mentalism material that was NOT about the props. Far too many are about the props. Instead I wanted mentalism that was about exploring the participant as a person, and my interaction with them. This book fits that desire like a glove. Even when a very few of the effects are using unique 'props' (e.g., The Mystic Square), Scott's script completely turns it around to be about the person and not the card.
Bravo Scott!! This material is exactly what I have been searching for! "

"I just wanted to say that your books arrived from Lulu a couple of days ago, and, not wishing to sound like a fanboy, but in all sincerity, this is the very best material I have ever read, and very well worth every penny. You have such an amazing way of explaining things. I think I now have everything you've put out, and have not been disappointed with anything. Thank you so much for sharing your material".

"This book is, hands down, the best book on mentalism I've read since Neal Scryer's black and white books"
***
"This is an exceptional book. Scott is an amazing thinker. His routines are clearly honed to perfection over time. Nothing extraneous, nothing wasted. I've bought several of his effects in the past and always was impressed, but I find that MMM is by far the most insightful, impactful work he's shared. The title says it all -- Minimalistic means only using are a stack of blank cards, a rubber band, and a Sharpie. Metaphysical means you're learning ways to make your routines meaningful and memorable. It all adds up to Mentalism that is thoroughly entertaining for your audience. Big fan"

“If you liked Scott's Q&A Evolution, you will love Q&A Simplified in M.M.M.
All of the benefits of Q&A Evolution, without the need for prepared cards. Q&A Simplified uses only double-blank cards and a few sharpies. That's it. M.M.M. provides handlings for one-on-one readings, Q&A for small or large audiences.
Quite ingenious”.

“I'm currently 60 odd pages in and wow, this book has surpassed my expectations already. The routine suggestion of the first 3 effects together is brilliant. I don't want to commit to learning it just yet as who knows what else the book contains! To be honest, this is the most I've spent on a book and I was a bit nervous, but I'm more than happy with my purchase”.
***
“I'm towards the end now and haven't been able to put it down. It has honestly changed my approach to performing. Great effects with minimal(istic) props which means pocket management is simplified massively. I can’t wait to perform these routines!”
***
“If you're on the fence about this, Scott is going to show you tons of stuff he does with just some double blank cards, markers and a rubber band. It's insane the kind of mileage he gets from these few items.”
